Willow was quickly shown around the area that Dignus called home on the beach. It was impressive enough, and while Willow wasn't particularly blown away by her new surroundings they were a nice enough for her to call home. There was plenty of things there, a sparring pit, amphitheater, a water wall and of course the barracks where all the campers stayed. It even seemed there were weapons and archery stuff, which was good, Willow needed to shoot to keep herself sane. She entered the barracks and found an empty bunk on the bottom and threw her one backpack full of clothes onto it. Everything in that bag was all she had and as she looked through for a moment she realized how little clothing she really had. Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of someone behind her and she turned to face the new person. "Oh, come to welcome me?" She turned back to her bag and folded some of the clothes that she took out.

Austin was leaning in the doorway of the Barracks. He shrugged as the new girl addressed him. "Well, sort of my job" he said flatly. "So" he said, "Think you'll fit in here?" he asked, always being right to the point. He was debating whether or not Willow would need to be put through some extra stuff to make sure she was worthy or not in his mind, hopefully a quick chat could clarify that for him.

She looked up and at Austin who had asked her if she thought she would fit in there. "Yes. I think so...I hope so." She looked at him and could tell he had something on his mind. "So...what exactly do you want to talk about? I can tell you have something on your mind. Are you having second thoughts about picking me? Because if so I can prove myself." She crossed her arms as she stood there looking at him, waiting for his response.

Austin shook his head at her second question. "No, I always have something to think about, and right now its not second thoughts." he said to her. "If I needed you to prove yourself again, I'd have started the conversation with that" he added. Austin was a very direct individual in conversations. "As for your first question, I'm here for exactly what I said, to welcome you to Dignus. It just came with the job".

Willow appreciated that her group leader was so direct in conversations. She didn't like when people spoke around what they really wanted to say and didn't just come out and say what they meant. She nodded a bit towards Austin and had a small smile on her face. "Sorry, I'm not really talkative I guess." She looked down at the ground quietly for a few seconds before speaking again. "Well thank you for the welcome it means a lot, even if it is part of your job." She really meant it, him welcoming her was a nice sentiment.

Austin nodded his acceptance of the thanks. "Anyways, if you have any questions or stuff..." he said, pausing momentarily. "Don't hesitate to ask me" he concluded. Trying to come across as nice, or anything other than what he really was, presented a difficult challenge for Austin, his persona was one that enjoyed control and power, and got excited over punishing group members and fighting the other groups or monsters. Despite that, he still made the effort for new members, before revealing his true nature later.
